Things to consider when getting quotes for an Aqualux pool finish
- If you are renovating an existing pool, think about small changes that will make
it easier to use or clean. Adding steps, seats or benches are all relatively
easy to do before a new finish is installed. A deep pool can be made shallower,
or the entry point changed.
- Can the existing lights and fittings such as the skimmer box etc be reused, or
do they need to be replaced?
- What sort of time frame will the installer work to? Are there specific deadlines
that need to be adhered to?
- Is any specific preparation to the pool required prior to work commencing?
- Is special access for machinery and tools required?
- Is there fragile garden beds or landscaping which need to be protected?
- Will expenses like rubbish removal, new water and start up chemicals (including
salt) be included in the quote? Who will balance the pool once installation is
complete?
- If the pool was leaking, it may be worth having the plumbing and pipework
pressure tested before the new finish is installed.
- What experience does the installer have and are they using genuine Aqualux?
